SAP S/4HANA Techno-Functional Supply Chain Architect (EWM / TM / PP/DS)

Trigyn Technologies is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Techno-Functional Supply Chain Architect to support a client's migration from a legacy ERP platform to SAP S/4HANA. The Architect will lead the design, configuration, and integration of SAP supply chain modules ? Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Transportation Management (TM), and Production Planning/Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) ? and make sure data flow and process integration work across hybrid cloud environments and external logistics networks.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll translate business and operational requirements into technical system design, keep local implementation aligned with the corporate SAP template and integration standards, and work within a Scaled Agile (SAFe) delivery framework.

Key Responsibilities

Lead System Design: Direct blueprinting and functional design for core S/4HANA supply chain modules, including embedded EWM, TM, PP/DS, and Advanced ATP (aATP).

Legacy-to-S/4HANA Migration: Shape the target-state supply chain design, data migration approach, and cutover planning for the move from the legacy system to SAP S/4HANA.
?

Align Operations and Technology: Translate physical logistics, warehouse automation, and production processes into technical system specifications and behaviors.
?

Coordinate Global Blueprints: Align local implementation requirements with the corporate supply chain process blueprint and enterprise integration standards.
?

Manage Custom Development: Direct ABAP/Fiori development teams on custom extensions and applications using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

Integrate Systems: Design integration architectures connecting S/4HANA to 3PLs, carriers, and vendor systems using EDI, SAP Integration Suite, and OData V4 APIs.

Support Agile Delivery: Participate in SAFe delivery and align supply chain workstreams with broader IT modernization programs.
?

Manage Data Quality: Implement Master Data Governance (MDG) standards for material masters, BOMs, and vendor records.
?

Maintain Architectural Governance: Prepare risk assessments, technical documentation, and architecture decision records for review boards and executive stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

? 10+ years of SAP ERP experience, including at least 3 years architecting SAP S/4HANA supply chain solutions (2023/2025 releases preferred).
? Deep configuration and process expertise in embedded EWM, TM, and PP/DS, with a strong foundation in SD, MM, and Inventory Management.
? Hands-on experience with at least one full-lifecycle legacy-to-S/4HANA migration or implementation.
? Technical depth in SAP BTP, ABAP/RAP, Core Data Services (CDS) views, Fiori/SAPUI5 UX concepts, and standard S/4HANA migration tools.
?

Proven integration experience with REST/SOAP APIs, OData V4, EDI standards (X12/EDIFACT), and middleware (SAP PI/PO, SAP Integration Suite).
? Background working in SAFe/Agile methodologies and ITIL service management and designing within hybrid cloud architectures.
? Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders and prepare formal business cases.
? Able to work onsite in Middlesex County, NJ up to 3 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

? Experience integrating SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) with core execution modules.
? Familiarity with emerging AI applications in supply chain, including Agentic AI frameworks such as SAP Joule for predictive risk detection or bottleneck resolution.
? Relevant SAP certifications (S/4HANA Supply Chain, EWM, TM) and/or TOGAF certification.
? Experience aligning a site or business unit rollout with a parent or corporate SAP template.
