Software Developer (Front-End)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client located in Westborough, MA that is looking for a Software Developer (Front-End).

Duties

In this role, you will design and develop web-based dashboards, metrics visualizations, and user interfaces that enable service operators to monitor and manage our robotics systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance operational tools that provide real-time insights and actionable data.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of front-end web development experience with strong expertise in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience designing and implementing operational dashboards and metrics visualizations for service operators or technical users
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability platforms (CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog)
• Proficiency in data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, Recharts) and time-series data handling
• Delivered scalable, high-performance web UIs used by multiple customers in production environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript and query languages (PromQL, LogQL, or CloudWatch Insights Query Language)
• Experience with Application Performance Monitoring tools (New Relic, Dynatrace, Datadog) and/or log aggregation platforms (Elasticsearch, Splunk)
• Knowledge of real-time data streaming technologies (WebSockets, Server-Sent Events) and alerting systems
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Background developing interfaces for industrial, robotics, or infrastructure applications with knowledge of SRE practices

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
