As an Account Manager - Ready-Mix Concrete, you manage contractor accounts for Knight's Companies, prepare quotes and bids, enter and track concrete orders, and coordinate with operations, quality control, billing, and credit. You build strong customer relationships, resolve issues with pricing, service, and product quality, and support sales growth by researching projects, reviewing specifications, and participating in industry networking.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate bids and quotes using pricing matrices
- Enter and track ready-mix orders through production and delivery
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors and key accounts
- Resolve customer issues related to billing, quality, and service
- Coordinate with operations, QC, billing, and credit to meet customer needs
- Research projects and review specifications before bidding
- Monitor contractor purchasing, pricing, and credit performance
- Support sales growth through networking and customer outreach
