Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience Requirements
- 2-5 years of quality engineering experience preferred in an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or higher quality standards.
- Experience with APQP processes including FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, and PPAP.
- Knowledge of statistical inspection methods and quality systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting and documentation.
- IPC-A-610/620 Certified Expert Trainer preferred.
Job Duties
- Support corrective and preventive action processes, including CARs, SCARs, RMAs, and 8D investigations.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
- Partner with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Inspection teams to improve product quality and process performance.
- Define and support incoming, in-process, and final inspection requirements.
- Analyze production processes to improve quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
- Establish and monitor quality metrics and statistical process controls.
- Assist with supplier qualification, evaluations, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate APQP activities with suppliers and customers.
- Support employee training programs related to quality systems and standards.
- Maintain compliance with ISO standards and support third-party audits.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with applicable industry and regulatory requirements.
- Train inspectors and team members on IPC acceptability standards.
- Serve as a quality liaison for customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Travel to supplier and customer locations as needed.

- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to perform audits and inspections on production floors and supplier sites.
- Occasional travel required to customer and supplier locations.
- Ability to review technical documentation and analyze detailed quality data.
