Principal Partner

Purpose of the job:

To source opportunities and generate revenue through the acquisition of new corporate employee benefit clients.

The role holder will need to develop and implement creative and forward-thinking ways to approach prospective clients and nurture external relationships to build a strong pipeline to meet business quality metrics and revenue growth targets.

Job summary:

Key to this role is the development of effective relationships to drive new business production in line with their own specific new business revenue targets and contribute to the overall company targets, producing regular and meaningful MI.

The job holder will play a key part in developing sales strategies and innovative solutions and will work collaboratively and closely with the Head of Business Development and Innovation on the engagement of prospects. The job holder will also work closely with the Client Success Manager to ensure the seamless transition of new clients into Secondsight.

The role holder will be a key contact and account director to a number of key clients, providing an exceptional level of client experience and managing upselling opportunities where suitable

Key skills and personal attributes:

· The development of ideas to support the sourcing of corporate new business opportunities

· Conduct high level needs analysis during qualification calls to uncover prospects key business and people challenges

· Provide a first class pension, financial wellbeing and H&P advice / guidance to employers

· Assist in developing the Secondsight brand and innovative solutions, influencing the direction of the EB proposition

· Work collaboratively with the New Business Development Team

· Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of Secondsight services

· Manage the recording and reporting of new business deals and income generation for yourself

· Provide leadership and mentoring support when required

· Work collaboratively with and provide leadership and support to the Practice(s) for the management of key clients

· To participate in appropriate company and departmental training, competence and development initiatives.

· To manage and plan projects in line with our sustainability policy, ensuring that Our People, Planet and Governance are considered.

· Ability to create a positive lasting impression, build and maintain relationships with clients

· Excellent communication and listening skills to support the goals and aspirations of clients
