Job Title: Lead Data/Snowflake Engineer

Duration: 12 months

Location: Houston, Tx (Hybrid)

Rate: $50/hr on W2

About Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL, Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT processes and Cloud Data Platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data solutions while ensuring high performance, security, governance. The role requires extensive experience in Snowflake architecture, data integration, performance optimization, data transformation and cloud-based analytics solutions.

Required Skills:

• 12+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, and Analytics platforms.
• Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadership initiatives.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake Data Warehouse development and administration.
• Strong understanding of dimensional data modeling, star schema, snowflake schema, and data warehouse concepts.
• Experience implementing data ingestion and integration solutions using Snow pipe and external stages.
• Strong knowledge of structured and semi-structured data processing.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, workload optimization, and cost management.
• Strong understanding of data integration, data migration, and modernization projects.
• Familiarity with orchestration and scheduling tools for data pipelines.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices, DevOps methodologies, and release management processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
