As a Speech Language Pathologist with Best Home Health Providers, you will be working directly with patients and their families in their homes to improve communication, function, and quality of life. You'll collaborate with a supportive clinical team dedicated to delivering excellent, coordinated care.

Please note that this role is per diem with a rate of $150 per visit.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized care plans to address speech and language deficits.
  • Deliver speech therapy using specialized techniques and equipment, and recommend communication devices when needed.
  • Partner with referring physicians and the care team to ensure integrated, patient-centered treatment.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and goals.
  • Participate in case conferences and care coordination meetings.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation per organization policy.
  • Stay current in speech-language pathology practice and theory.
  • Perform other duties as required for patient services.
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Californian SLP license.
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical SLP experience.
  • Current CPR certification with AHA.
  • Valid driver's license and insured, reliable vehicle.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
