Assistant Sales Manager

Our client, a well-established automotive dealership based in Chichester, West Sussex, is seeking an experienced Assistant Sales Manager to join their team. Duties:

• Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and surpass sales targets
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximise revenue
• Deliver excellent customer service and foster long-term client relationships
• Manage the sales process from initial contact through to vehicle handover
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of vehicle stock, finance options, and market trends
• Ensure a professional and engaging customer buying journey
• Oversee administrative and organisational tasks related to sales operations
• Support the team in achieving their personal and team targets

Requirements:

• Full, clean driving licence
• Proficient in PC applications and Microsoft Office suite
• Web literate with excellent organisational skills
• Proven experience in automotive sales or managerial roles
• Ability to motivate and develop a sales team
• F&I experience is desirable but not essential
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Customer-focused with high attention to detail
