SAP Interfaces Developer SAP ABAP/ Fiori / SAPUI5

We are seeking an experienced SAP Interfaces Developer with expertise in SAP ABAP and SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 to design, build, and support robust integration solutions and user-centric applications. In this role, you will bridge SAP ERP systems (ECC / S/4HANA) with third-party applications, cloud platforms, and internal services, while delivering seamless Fiori user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

Interface & Integration Development

• Design, build, test, and deploy SAP interfaces using OData Services, REST/SOAP APIs, IDocs, RFCs, and BAPIs.
• Integrate SAP S/4HANA (or ECC) with external systems, third-party SaaS tools, and middleware platforms (e.g., SAP Integration Suite / CPI, PO/PI).
• Optimize interface performance, memory management, and error-handling frameworks to ensure scalable integration.

ABAP Development

• Develop custom ABAP programs, enhancement spots, User Exits, BAdIs, and CDS Views.
• Build Object-Oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP) classes and RESTful Application Programming (RAP) / ABAP Programming Model for SAP Fiori backend services.
• Perform code reviews, performance tuning (ST12, SAT, SQL Trace), and ensure alignment with SAP best practices.

SAP Fiori & User Experience

• Develop and maintain custom SAPUI5 / Fiori web applications, extends standard Fiori apps, and configures SAP Fiori Launchpad.
• Bind backend OData services seamlessly to front-end UI components.
• Ensure UI responsiveness across desktop and mobile devices while adhering to SAP Fiori design guidelines.

Collaboration & Support

• Collaborate with functional consultants, solution architects, and external partners to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve interface failures, runtime errors, and performance bottlenecks in production environments.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and mapping specs.

Qualifications & Requirements

Technical Skills

• Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP and SAP Fiori/SAPUI5 development.
• Interface Experience: Proven expertise in building end-to-end integrations using OData (Gateway), IDocs, BAPIs, and Web Services.
• Core ABAP: Strong proficiency in OO-ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, BAdIs, and Enhancement Frameworks.
• Fiori / Front-End: Hands-on skills with SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SAP Fiori Launchpad configuration.
• Database: Experience working on SAP HANA database views and SQL Scripting.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priority deliverables in an Agile/Scrum delivery model.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Platform Integration - CPI) or SAP PO/PI.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Cloud / RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model) or CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model).
• SAP Certifications in ABAP, Fiori/SAPUI5, or S/4HANA Development.
