Job Description

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Release Manager.

Position type: Full Time - Contract role
Duration: 3 Months
Location: Atlanta GA

As a Release Manager, you will:
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of network engineering, implementation, release, and deployment activities across multiple projects and initiatives.
  • Coordinate technical resources including network engineers, contractors, vendors, partners, and third-party service providers to ensure successful execution.
  • Translate business requirements into technical implementation plans while managing project dependencies, risks, and schedules.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate release calendars, deployment schedules, risk trackers, and implementation timelines.
  • Lead Change Management activities including CRQ creation, review, approval tracking, CAB participation, and deployment governance.
  • Ensure all change requests contain accurate documentation, risk assessments, implementation plans, rollback procedures, and post-implementation details.
  • Monitor engineering task execution and proactively identify, escalate, and resolve delivery issues or scheduling conflicts.
  • Partner with project managers, engineering teams, operations groups, and stakeholders to ensure successful production implementations.
  • Provide regular status reporting to leadership, Change Management teams, and key business stakeholders. ·
  • Facilitate release readiness reviews, deployment planning sessions, and post-implementation reviews when required.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise Change Management policies, processes, and governance standards.
  • Participate in incident and problem management activities to assess release impacts and drive continuous service improvements.
     
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Minimum 8+ year’s experience required in a Technical role supporting network project/programs.   
  • Experience with Change Management and CAB processes and procedures.
  • Strong background in IT service delivery role.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business or a finance related field/technical training or equivalent experience
  • Financial services (Insurance, Banking, Investment banking)
  • Industry Certifications in PMP, ITIL, technical certifications such as CCNA.

Pay Range*: $43 - $53/hr.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
