Job Details:
The Implementation Engineer plays an essential role in the deployment and setup of software or systems within the client s business environment. This position involves working closely with the client to understand their technical requirements and business objectives, translating these needs into a functional and efficient system. The engineering level resource will be responsible for taking an already completed Arista design and configuration and performing the hands-on execution work. The resource should have basic network experience as well as basic Ansible experience (ability to run a script and identify if the script is not running properly). Some basic knowledge of Arista CVP would be desirable.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Meet client-specific requirements, ensuring compatibility with their existing IT infrastructure and systems.
• Perform rigorous testing of systems to ensure stability, efficiency, and security before full-scale implementation.
• Provide detailed documentation and standard operating procedures for the client, ensuring they understand the new systems and any changes made.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the implementation phase, offering timely and effective solutions.
• Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and on-budget delivery of implementation projects.
• Evaluate post-implementation system performance, making adjustments as necessary and providing ongoing support and optimization services.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in engineering, computer science, business, finance or related field/technical training. Must have strong analytical skills.
• Minimum of 3 years experience required in technical role in the following focus areas: Data Center, Cisco Nexus Platform switches, Arista, Arista CVP desired, BGP, Automation experience must have Ansible. Python is a plus.
• Unix/Linux background is a plus.
• CCIE preferred
• Financial services (Insurance, Banking, Investment banking), is a plus.
• Ability to be nimble and flexible; prioritize workload, proactively react to issues and consistently react to shifting deadlines.
• Ability to work weekends (as needed) for migration work
