Job Description

Our client, a top 10 consulting firm, is seeking a Packaging & Regulatory Data Senior Consultant (PPWR) to support a client preparing packaging data and systems for evolving European regulatory requirements.

This is a data-focused consulting role for an individual who can interpret regulatory requirements, determine the information the business must capture, and collaborate with IT teams to ensure packaging and regulatory data is available across systems, labels, and reporting solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong data management and business analysis skills, with experience connecting regulatory, packaging, supply chain, business, and technology stakeholders to deliver accurate, actionable, and compliant data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with regulatory and packaging specialists to translate requirements into data and system needs.
• Identify required packaging attributes, data ownership, source systems, and data flows.
• Assess data quality and identify gaps across packaging specifications, material master data, supplier information, and bills of materials.
• Develop data mappings, validation rules, business rules, and requirements for packaging-related reporting and labeling.
• Collaborate with IT teams on system enhancements, integrations, testing, and data capture processes.
• Coordinate with regulatory, supply chain, packaging, product, and IT stakeholders to resolve data issues.
• Track project readiness and implementation progress.
• Document requirements, decisions, dependencies, and project outcomes.
• Support the preparation of packaging data for evolving European regulatory requirements.

• Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Familiarity with packaging, product, supply chain, or sustainability-related data.
