Hybrid: Technical Lead – AI/Data Engineering

Role Summary:
Seeking a Tech Lead to lead a team of developers in designing, developing, and delivering scalable AI/Data solutions. The role involves technical leadership, solution architecture, mentoring, and hands-on development using modern cloud, AI, and data technologies.

 Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor development teams.
• Design and review scalable application architectures.
• Drive software development, testing, deployment, and production readiness.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and solution architects.
• Ensure code quality, performance, security, and governance standards.
• Manage technical delivery, estimates, and project planning.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and best practices.

 Required Skills

• Strong experience with Python, SQL, AWS, and Databricks.
• Expertise in AI/LLM technologies: RAG, Prompt Engineering, Agentic Workflows, Vector Databases, Bedrock.
• Experience with Databricks (Genie, Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, MLflow, Databricks SQL).
• Knowledge of REST APIs, OAuth/OIDC, ETL/ELT, Data Modeling, and Data Governance.
• Experience with Terraform, GitLab, CI/CD, Docker, and cloud-native architecture.
• Strong understanding of solution architecture, security, design reviews, and production support.

 Preferred Technologies

• AWS: Lambda, S3, Glue, Athena, CloudWatch, ECS/Fargate, Step Functions.
• AI Frameworks: LangChain, LangGraph, Amazon Bedrock.
• Frontend: Vue.js, JavaScript.
• Testing: PyTest, SonarQube, Ruff, Black.

 Desired Experience

• 10+ years in Software Development/Data Engineering.
• 3+ years leading technical teams and enterprise-scale AI/Data platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and mentoring skills.
