We are hiring a Manager, IT VMS Recruitment Delivery to lead that shift inside our IT/VMS practice. This is a mandate to change how the team operates to drive a culture of proactive pipeline management that positions Robertson as a top-tier supplier before a requirement ever lands. You will own team performance, install delivery discipline, and drive measurable improvement in time-to-submit, submission quality, and MSP scorecard outcomes.
This is a player-coach role: 50% individual delivery, 50% team leadership. If you are a senior IT recruiter or team lead who has mastered VMS delivery and is ready to build something, this is your seat.
What You ll Own
Delivery Performance
- Own all delivery KPIs across your IT requisition portfolio: candidate pipeline coverage, time-to-submit, submission-to-interview ratio, coverage rate, conversion, and gross margin.
- Lead a culture of proactive pipeline depth maintain a stable of vetted, submission-ready candidates per high-demand skill area at all times.
- Ensure full requisition coverage across all assigned MSP programs with zero gaps on high demand and priority requirements.
- Personally carry a req load and model the execution standard you hold your team to.
Team Leadership
- Run daily IT team huddles to track KPIs, surface blockers, and celebrate wins.
- Conduct weekly one-on-ones with each recruiter to review performance and deliver targeted coaching.
- Hold the team accountable for Bullhorn documentation standards, data hygiene, and cross-submission discipline.
- Build a culture of shared success, shared accountability and collaborative delivery.
- Hire, onboard, and develop new recruiters as the team scales.
Strategy & Program Partnership
- Partner with Account Management to refine search strategies, align on client priorities, and improve submission-to-shortlist outcomes.
- Attend client meetings and debrief hiring managers to capture environment context, success criteria, and competitive intel.
- Lead sourcing strategy sessions to concentrate team focus on the highest-value requirements.
- Build and maintain a contractor reactivation pipeline to accelerate redeployment and reduce net-new sourcing time.
- Drive MSP scorecard performance to consistently rank Robertson among top-tier suppliers.
Operations & Continuous Improvement
- Champion new tools, platforms, and AI-assisted sourcing capabilities; build the business case for innovation.
- Maintain current knowledge of IT labour market dynamics and candidate supply trends within financial services.
- Contribute to Robertson s Delivery Playbook as part of the broader delivery transformation.
What You Bring
We are looking for someone who has mastered MSP/VMS delivery and is hungry to build a team around a higher standard of execution.
Required
- 5+ years of IT recruitment experience in an agency or MSP/VMS environment.
- Demonstrated track record of high-volume delivery within VMS programs you know how to run a req load and win on scorecards.
- Proven performance in a metrics-driven environment with direct accountability for time-to-submit, conversion, and margin outcomes.
- 1 2 years in a team lead, senior recruiter, or informal leadership capacity.
- Strong sourcing discipline: Boolean, network-led, and database-first pipelines are second nature.
- Exceptional communication skills you manage up, across, and down with equal confidence.
Preferred
- Financial services sector experience (banking, insurance, capital markets).
- Familiarity with major VMS platforms (Fieldglass, Beeline, Magnit, FlexTrack or equivalent).
- Experience contributing to or managing supplier scorecard programs.
