Your new role: Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this newly enhanced leadership position will take ownership of the organisation's technology strategy, operations and transformation agenda. As Head of Technology, you will lead a team of four technology professionals while providing strategic direction across infrastructure, cybersecurity, ERP platforms, business applications, service delivery, vendor management and technology transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Developing and executing a four-year technology strategy and roadmap.
• Leading enterprise-wide technology transformation initiatives.
• Providing executive and Board-level technology advice and guidance.
• Driving improvements across infrastructure, cybersecurity and service delivery functions.
• Overseeing ERP platforms, business-critical systems and ongoing technology investment.
• Managing IT budgets, technology vendors and strategic partnerships.
• Building, mentoring and leading a team of four direct reports.
• Ensuring technology is viewed as a strategic business enabler across the organisation.
• Leading technology projects, system upgrades, integrations and digital transformation programs.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience as a Head of Technology, Head of IT, Technology Manager or IT Manager in an engineering, construction, manufacturing, facilities management, industrial services, infrastructure or project-driven environments will be highly regarded.
• Experience developing and delivering technology strategies, roadmaps and transformation programs.
• Strong background across infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity and IT operations.
• Experience managing ERP platforms, enterprise applications and complex system integrations.
• Demonstrated success delivering organisational change and technology modernisation initiatives.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing technology teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with exposure to budgeting, procurement and vendor management.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage executives, operational leaders and Board-level stakeholders.
• The ability to translate technology strategy into measurable business outcomes.
