Why this is an exciting opportunity

• Lead end to end solution architecture for complex initiatives and platform modernisation.
• Produce clear architecture artefacts including solution designs, ADRs and diagrams.
• Design cloud native solutions on AWS and/or GCP with strong security and cost awareness.
• Apply modern patterns such as microservices, API first and event driven architectures.
• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to data, analytics and responsible AI design.
• Support delivery in agile and scaled agile environments.
• Contribute to enterprise architecture standards and guardrails.

What you bring

• Extensive experience designing and delivering enterprise technology solutions.
• Hands on architectural experience across applications, data, security and cloud.
• Proven experience with AWS and/or GCP cloud native services.
• Experience with microservices, APIs and event driven architectures.
• Solid understanding of identity and access management including OAuth 2.0 and OIDC.
• Strong understanding of security, compliance and regulatory requirements in financial services.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile or SAFe delivery environments.

Desirable Criteria

• Experience with platform or application modernisation programmes.
• Strong background in data platforms, analytics and data governance.
• Experience applying AI responsibly in regulated environments.
• AWS and/or GCP architect certification.
• TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification.
• FinOps or relevant security or data certifications.
