As our WMS Implementation Readiness Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the success of a high-impact Manhattan Active Warehouse Management deployment, ensuring seamless planning, collaboration, and execution that drives our mission forward.
Overview
Join us as a strategic partner in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This contract role offers the chance to lead cross-functional teams, influence implementation strategies, and ensure readiness at every stage of deployment—empowering our operations and advancing our industry footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, validate, and challenge implementation scopes, Statements of Work, and project plans to mitigate risks and clarify responsibilities.
- Develop independent assessments of implementation strategies, timelines, and resource needs, creating dashboards and risk assessments for executive visibility.
- Collaborate with Manhattan Associates and internal teams to ensure readiness, including environment architecture, testing, and integration planning.
- Facilitate workshops, lead governance activities, and prepare communication materials for senior leadership.
- Define staffing, organizational, and vendor sourcing strategies, identifying capability gaps and mitigation plans.
- Track project milestones, dependencies, and risks, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and motivated to deliver on schedule.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 10+ years of enterprise software implementation experience, with 5+ years leading Warehouse Management System (WMS) programs.
- Proven expertise with Manhattan WMS implementations, preferably Manhattan Active Warehouse Management.
- Strong background in reviewing and negotiating implementation SOWs.
- Experience managing large-scale ERP and supply chain application deployments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, prepare executive updates, and facilitate vendor negotiations.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Previous Manhattan Active WMS leadership experience.
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP integration and automated warehouse systems.
- PMP certification or supply chain consulting background.
- Experience in regulated environments like pharmaceuticals or medical devices.

The projected hourly range for this position is $80 to $90.
