Job Description

Position: Senior Automation Test Lead

Location: Raleigh, NC

Client: State of North Carolina

Duration: 12+ Months

Job Description: Senior Automation Test Lead to guide the automation testing for a large healthcare transition project. Responsibilities include assessing testability of requirements, creating and executing test cases, and developing automated test scripts for EDI transactions (HIPAA X12 837I, 837P) and NCPDP D.0. Will lead functional, integration, and regression testing, manage test results, and collaborate with business users for thorough user acceptance. Must be proficient with test/defect management tools and SQL, and have experience testing healthcare claims processing and web applications within an Agile environment.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Experience developing and executing test scripts for X12 EDI transmissions (837i, 837P) and NCPDP D.0
QA/testing of EDI applications with hands-on scripting for automated test suites
Functional, integration, and regression testing experience
Healthcare Claims Processing Testing experience
Strong SQL query development skills
Proficiency with HP ALM and JIRA for test/defect management
Testing web applications; knowledge of Agile methodologies
Excellent communication and ability to work independently; strong collaboration with business teams
