Senior Business Process Consultant (f/m/d) Supply Chain Planning
Quick overview
Job description
What you'll bring
You bring deep expertise in SAP supply chain planning and a track record of leading end-to-end implementations in discrete manufacturing.
- Proven experience as a solution architect, project manager, or lead consultant in SAP planning implementations — with a strong business architecture background and knowledge of APO, IBP, PP/DS, or aATP
- Strong business process analysis and management skills applied across discrete manufacturing supply chains, including demand planning, S&OP, response and supply, or production planning
- Expertise in at least one SAP planning integration technology: IBP (CI-DS, Core Integration, Datasphere, RTI) or PP/DS (CIF)
- Strategic thinking and experience in scenario testing to evaluate planning options and guide customers through complex design decisions
- A degree in business informatics, industrial engineering, supply chain management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Fluency in German and English is required for this role.
We also look for people who build trust naturally, communicate with clarity, keep the customer at the centre of what they do, and bring emotional intelligence and genuine problem-solving ability to the challenges they face.
In addition to the skills and experience specific to this role, all positions at SAP require candidates who are comfortable using AI tools — including agentic AI — in their day-to-day work, from crafting effective inputs and automating routine tasks, to evaluating AI-generated outputs for quality and driving adoption of AI practices within their teams.
What you'll build
You will lead supply chain planning implementations for discrete manufacturing customers — from solution architecture to go-live — as a trusted advisor across the project lifecycle.
- Lead end-to-end implementations, from solution architecture and process design to productive go-live
- Design and deliver Agentic AI use cases that operationalise the Autonomous Enterprise vision in supply chain
- Facilitate workshops and steering committees with process owners and C-level decision makers
- Drive project and change management to ensure sustainable solution adoption
- Lead pre-sales activities, including proposals, proof of concepts, and strategic customer programmes
- Build accelerators and best practices to reduce project risk and shorten implementation timelines
