Job Title: Advanced Practice Professional – Hematology/Oncology

What You’ll Champion:

• Join a growing Oncology & Hematology team with established provider support, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and expanding medical oncology coverage. This is a newly created position driven by practice growth.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply. The practice is open to training and developing new Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants interested in oncology and hematology.
• Primarily outpatient role focused on follow-up visits, pre-treatment evaluations, acute visits, and patient triage, providing a diverse and rewarding clinical experience.
• Excellent work-life balance with a Monday through Friday schedule (five 8-hour shifts), no routine call requirement, and only occasional after-hours telephone triage support if needed.
• Manageable patient volumes, seeing approximately up to 12 adult patients per day, allowing for meaningful patient interactions and high-quality care.
• Collaborative team environment where the APP works closely with physicians and fellow advanced practice providers while contributing independently to patient care.
• Practice based in Chambersburg, PA, with occasional travel opportunities to Waynesboro and Chambersburg Hospital, offering exposure to multiple care settings.

Qualifications
Minimum Education:

• Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or
• Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required
• Masters Degree Physician Assistant Preferred

Work Experience:

• 1 year Required

Licenses:

• Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required and
• Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required and
• Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required and
• Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required or
• Physician Assistant - Graduate of accredited physician assistant program Upon Hire Required
