Position: OMP Supply Modeler / Data Modeler

Job Description:

Main Purpose of Job

• Define planning and optimization strategies associated to model performance, design and deploy new functionalities and updates to the Supply Model strategy based on business requirements from key stakeholders.
• Supply Modeler is responsible to regularly evaluate and refine supply network models through data-driven improvements as OMP Unison is implemented across NPPC-NA.

Responsibilities

• Assess the current state of the supply network, understanding business objectives, and designing a strategy to model and optimize the supply chain.
• Configuration and Customization: Ability to configure and customize modules to support materials management, procurement, and inventory management processes.
• Use modeling and simulation tools to perform updates of parameters to business goals and test the supply network model.
• Cooperate with stakeholders within Project Team’s CP & DPS Streams and from the business as Concurrent Planners, Manufacturing, Inventory Analyst, Distribution to define business requirements.
• Reflect into strategy templates depending on the market conditions and perform the regular feedback for Supply Modeling governance meetings.
• Translate strategy templates and needs from the business into mathematical/heuristic models.
• Use modeling and simulation tools to update parameters such as costs, penalties of supply network models to as close as possible to business goal and test the supply network model.

Key Experience

• Senior profiles (10+ years experience).
• +3 years of experience with OMP Unison systems, participating in multiple implementations of CP / DPS.
• +2 years of experience in data analysis; be skilled at collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets to extract meaningful insights and support decision-making processes in supply chain management.
