Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead a strategic Veeva CRM to Salesforce CRM transformation for a leading pharmaceutical organization. This individual will serve as the Product Subject Matter Expert (SME), owning the product vision, business requirements, and implementation throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience in commercial pharmaceutical business processes, hands-on knowledge of Veeva CRM and Salesforce CRM, and a proven track record leading enterprise CRM implementations. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, IT, Salesforce implementation partners, QA, validation, and change management teams to ensure a successful migration with minimal disruption to commercial operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Serve as the Product Owner and business lead for the Veeva CRM to Salesforce CRM transformation program.
* Own the product roadmap, vision, and implementation strategy throughout the project lifecycle.
* Act as the primary Product SME for commercial pharmaceutical business processes including Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Field Operations.
* Gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements from cross-functional stakeholders.
* Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlog items.
* Partner with Salesforce implementation teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives and industry best practices.
* Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, product demonstrations, and user acceptance activities within Agile methodologies.
* Validate that Salesforce CRM capabilities meet existing Veeva CRM business functionality while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
* Make product decisions regarding configuration, workflows, business processes, integrations, and release priorities.
* Collaborate with business users, solution architects, developers, QA, data migration, and integration teams throughout implementation.
* Ensure successful migration of business processes, customer data, territories, accounts, and commercial workflows.
* Support data migration planning, validation, and business readiness activities.
* Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect triage, and business sign-off activities.
* Drive stakeholder communication, executive updates, and change management initiatives.
* Support training, adoption, and post-production stabilization.
* Ensure project deliverables meet quality, compliance, and business expectations.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Life Sciences, or related field.
* 7+ years of Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or CRM implementation experience.
* 5+ years of pharmaceutical or life sciences industry experience supporting commercial operations.
* Strong experience with Veeva CRM.
* Strong experience implementing or supporting Salesforce CRM.
* Experience leading enterprise CRM transformation or migration projects.
