Job description
Indiana Professional Management Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Human Resources to provide strategic leadership and oversight of our HR department while supporting the continued growth and success of our organization.
This position is responsible for leading and developing the HR team, overseeing talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, employee engagement, and compliance. The Director will collaborate closely with executive leadership to identify organizational needs, develop effective HR strategies, improve processes, and implement initiatives that support IPMG's mission, values, and long-term goals.
We are looking for a proactive, solutions-focused leader who can think strategically, take ownership of initiatives, and independently drive projects from planning through implementation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong judgment, accountability, and follow-through while maintaining a positive, supportive team environment through periods of growth and organizational change. This individual should be comfortable making decisions, developing their team, building strong relationships across departments, and contributing as a trusted member of organizational leadership.
If you are an experienced HR professional who enjoys developing people, solving problems, driving organizational improvements, and making a meaningful impact, we encourage you to apply.

- Five or more years of progressive human resources experience, including experience leading and developing an HR team.
- SHRM or PHR certification, or the ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.
- Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience providing HR guidance and recommendations to organizational leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, solve complex problems, and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build positive working relationships across departments and leadership levels.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive employee matters professionally.

- Paid Time Off (PTO): Paid time away from work to support rest, personal needs, and work-life balance.
- Paid Holidays: Time away to recognize designated holidays throughout the year.
