The Opportunity
StaffRight Associates has been retained by a premier industry partner to identify a visionary cybersecurity leader to safeguard next-generation intelligent platforms. In this critical role, you will architect resilient defenses, establish governance frameworks, and secure autonomous workflows across the enterprise. StaffRight Associates is managing all aspects of this search to connect high-caliber technical talent with an organization driving advanced platform innovation.
What You’ll Do
Architect, implement, and maintain enterprise security frameworks for model hosting environments, registries, feature stores, vector databases, and agent orchestration systems.
Design and deploy robust Identity And Access Management protocols, including granular policy enforcement, secrets management, and credential lifecycle controls across all data stores and autonomous tools.
Establish isolation boundaries and execution sandboxes for agentic workflows to systematically reduce blast radiuses and enforce least-privilege tool access.
Build multi-layered observability and logging pipelines covering prompts, tool invocations, model outputs, and data access paths, integrating them into existing detection infrastructure.
Spearhead incident response protocols and forensic investigations into model misuse, compromised agents, or unauthorized data movements.
Partner with DevOps and platform engineering cohorts to embed security controls, secure deployment patterns, and policy-as-code directly into continuous integration pipelines.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and threat modeling covering third-party software supply chains, foundation models, and external services.
Enforce compliance across NIST CSF, NIST RMF, NIST AI RMF, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 Type 2 frameworks by delivering automated technical controls and audit-ready evidence.
Author and maintain clear, audit-ready technical documentation, including architectural decision records, threat models, operating procedures, and runbooks.
Provide technical mentorship and operational oversight to engineering team members troubleshooting platform security incidents.
What You Bring
Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related technical field, combined with 7+ years of progressive professional experience.
5+ Years of focused experience in Cloud Security or Platform Security.
3+ Years of hands-on experience hardening Container Orchestration, Kubernetes-Based Platforms, and Microservices.
Advanced technical expertise in Identity And Access Management, Secrets Management, and securing Service-To-Service Communication across distributed environments.
Demonstrated history applying NIST CSF, NIST RMF, NIST AI RMF, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 Type 2 frameworks to enterprise programs.
Proven capability in building Security Tooling and Security Automation while collaborating closely with Infrastructure Teams and Site Reliability Engineering teams.
Exceptional technical writing proficiency with a proven track record of producing Audit-Ready Security Documentation and driving consensus across teams.
Deep knowledge of Data Protection Practices, including Data Loss Prevention, Data Encryption, Data Masking, and Access Pattern Monitoring for specialized workloads.
Preferred familiarity with Agentic AI Systems, Machine Learning Infrastructure, and Large Language Model Security.
Compensation & Total Rewards
Annual base compensation range: $144,000 - $160,000.
Employment type & work model: Direct placement position with a hybrid schedule (3 days on-site per week in Dunkirk, NY).
