JOB TITLE: 

Car Rental Attendant

JOB PURPOSE:  

Prepare vehicles for car rental customers.

Please Note: Starting Salary: $11.00 per hour. After successfully completing a 4-month probationary period, the hourly rate increases to $11.50 per hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fuel rental vehicles upon return.
• Prepare and stage vehicles for outgoing rentals.
• Transport vehicles as needed.
• Provide courtesy rides for customers as needed.
• Inspect vehicles and document damages.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the Driving for University Business SAP.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Ability to read, understand, and follow all traffic laws.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow established guidelines and regulations.
• Ability to operate vehicles in a safe and professional manner in all types of weather and road conditions.
• Ability to park and back up vehicles into designated areas.
• Ability to be punctual, reliable, and complete assignments in a timely manner.

WORK LOCATION:

On-campus: This position provides vital support to campus customers, and the successful candidate must be available to work and perform essential job functions on campus, understanding our location is at 7,220 feet above sea level.
