Join a high-performing technology team supporting critical services used by millions of Australians. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Network Engineer (F5 Specialist) to lead the delivery, optimisation and support of enterprise-scale F5 application delivery platforms within a complex and highly secure environment.

About the Role

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will provide technical leadership across F5 BIG-IP technologies, ensuring the availability, performance and security of critical infrastructure services. You'll work closely with network, security, infrastructure and project teams to deliver upgrades, cyber security initiatives, platform enhancements and operational support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and support F5 BIG-IP platforms including LTM, DNS/GTM and APM
  • Design and maintain load balancing, SSL/TLS, traffic management and high availability solutions
  • Lead complex troubleshooting, performance tuning and root cause analysis activities
  • Deliver platform upgrades, vulnerability remediation and infrastructure refresh projects
  • Support disaster recovery, business continuity and operational readiness initiatives
  • Develop technical documentation and mentor internal technical teams
About You
  • Extensive experience supporting F5 BIG-IP platforms in large enterprise environments
  • Strong expertise in LTM, DNS/GTM, APM, SSL/TLS, iRules and high availability architectures
  • Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, firewalls and network security
  • Strong Linux/UNIX troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Experience with automation tools such as Python, Terraform or Ansible
  • F5 certifications and relevant networking or cyber security certifications are highly regarded
