Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Double Days Shift
Location: Ripley
Salary: Up to £50,000

About the Role:

We're looking for a proactive and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Ripley. This is a double days shift role, covering both electrical and mechanical maintenance, supporting breakdowns, reactive and planned work across a wide range of production equipment.

You'll be joining a small but skilled team where your expertise will be valued and put to good use in a varied and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance

• Work on a range of machinery including:

  • Extruders, cutters, finishers, conveyors, belts, bearings, lathes, printers

• Electrical fault finding on:

  • PLCs (I/O level only), inverters, drives, relays, sensors

• Mechanical maintenance on:

  • Hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives, belting systems

• Assist in improving reliability and minimising downtime

• Welding/fabrication experience is advantageous but not essential

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer in a production or manufacturing environment

• Confident with both mechanical and electrical fault finding

• Good working knowledge of automated machinery and production lines
