Senior Data Engineer:

• Initial 6 months contract
• Work with the global client
• Experience with Kafka, event-driven architectures

About The Role:

We are seeking 2x Senior Data Engineers to support a major data engineering initiative within a trading environment.

This opportunity is suited to experienced data engineers who have worked with modern data platforms, event-driven architectures, and complex data ingestion and integration pipelines.

Key requirements:

• Strong experience in data engineering, including data ingestion, processing, integration, and pipeline development across complex enterprise environments.
• Data modeling experience is a must.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, event-driven architectures, streaming data, and scalable data platform solutions.
• Prior experience working across trading environments, including ETRMs, market data, price curves, exposure, risk, valuation, and contract management, is highly desirable.
• Experience across trading or energy environments will be highly regarded, particularly exposure to ETRMs, market data, price curves, exposure, risk, valuation, and contract management systems.
