Worldline Service Australia (WSA) delivers end-to-end payment services and technology support to Worldline clients within the Australian market. Our team focuses on ensuring reliable payment processing, proactive service management, and a superior customer experience through robust operations, incident response, and continuous improvement.

The Team

The Service Delivery function provides operational governance, customer engagement and IT Service Management capability for Worldline Service Australia. The team is responsible for ensuring payment services remain stable, resilient and continuously improving through effective operational processes, customer governance and service assurance.

Your mission

Design, develop and maintain the data engineering capability supporting operational reporting, enterprise integrations, customer solutions and AI-enabled services across Worldline Services Australia.

The role is responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines, integrations and reporting datasets while ensuring high standards of data quality, governance and security. The role also provides specialist expertise supporting data migration, transformation and validation activities associated with the Corporate IT Transition Programme.

The opportunity

We are looking for an energetic data engineer who can help by developing and maintaining the data engineering capability supporting operational reporting, system integrations, AI solutions and business services across Worldline Services Australia. The role also provides specialist data engineering expertise to support the Corporate IT Transition Programme, ensuring business and operational data is securely migrated while maintaining data quality and integrity.

Day-to-day responsibilities Key Accountabilities Data Engineering

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise data pipelines.
• Develop ETL and ELT processes supporting operational systems.
• Build reusable data integration components.
• Optimise data processing and performance.
• Maintain scalable and secure data architectures.

Data Integration

• Develop integrations between operational platforms.
• Design APIs and data exchange processes.
• Support ServiceNow integrations.
• Support customer portal data services.
• Maintain integration documentation.

Corporate IT Transition

• Support discovery of business and operational data.
• Develop data extraction and transformation processes.
• Validate migrated data for completeness and accuracy.
• Support reconciliation activities.
• Work with transition teams to resolve data quality issues.
• Assist with migration planning and execution.

BAU Operational Support

• Support operational reporting platforms.
• Develop new data services.
• Investigate production data issues.
• Implement enhancements.
• Support operational change activities.

Data Quality & Governance

• Develop data quality controls.
• Monitor data integrity.
• Implement validation and reconciliation processes.
• Support information governance.
• Maintain metadata and technical documentation.

AI & Analytics Enablement

• Develop data services supporting AI initiatives.
• Prepare structured datasets for AI solutions.
• Support intelligent automation platforms.
• Enable operational dashboards and analytics.
• Assist with future data platform improvements.
