Full Stack Developer with Security Clearance

We've been supporting this customer on many different sub-projects of this program since our founding in 2013. We've grown on this effort by providing the customer with Engineers who have done exceptional work, and we've retained our staff by paying very strong salaries, and working hard to ensure each Engineer is doing work that aligns with their career interest. Work on this program takes place in Chantilly, VA and in various field offices throughout Northern VA (we cannot support remote work), and requires a TS/SCI + Polygraph clearance (acceptable to this customer). What You'll be Owning GRVTY is seeking a Full Stack Developer with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in Chantilly, VA. The Senior Developer will be supporting a backend development team focused primarily on middleware and backend services. What You Must Have * Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance (acceptable to this customer) * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree * Intermediate to Expert level experience in Solr or Elastic Search (minimum 3 years), and possessing: * Experience performing schema updates * Significant knowledge & experience in submitting Lucene queries * Significant knowledge & experience on how Solr/Elastic shards work * Significant experience tuning Solr/Elastic for performance and query optimization * Minimum of 3 years of experience in a big data environment using tools such as Hadoop, Pyspark, Spark, and Hbase (prefer at least two of the list) * Minimum of 5 years of hands-on, back-end Java development experience (not Javascript or Springboot) implementing code that undergoes code reviews, unit testing, integration testing and deployed to a production environment What Would be Nice to Have * Demonstrated experience working with several AWS services * Demonstrated experience with JIRA and GITHUB #LI-BPJ
