Michael Page is delighted to be partnering with a well-established Not For Profit organisation to recruit an HR Operations Specialist on a fixed-term basis until March 2027.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Operations, People Services or Shared Services professional to play a key role in a significant people transformation programme. Working within a collaborative and supportive People & Culture team, you will lead the review and redesign of HR processes, systems and ways of working, helping to create a more efficient, streamlined and customer-focused service.
Description
Reporting into a supportive senior leader who offers autonomy and trust, you will:
- Lead the review, redesign and centralisation of HR operational processes across the employee lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
- Work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders to embed new ways of working.
- Support organisational change and transformation activity across a complex, multi-site organisation.
- Improve the utilisation of HR technology, systems and AI to enhance both operational effectiveness and employee experience.
- Develop consistent processes, policies and standards across the organisation.
- Use data and insight to identify trends, improve performance and support decision-making.
Profile
We are looking for a proactive and self-motivated HR professional who can quickly build credibility and deliver results.
You will ideally have:
- Experience within HR Operations, People Services, Shared Services or a similar HR transformation-focused role.
- A track record of leading process improvement, transformation or service redesign projects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience improving HR systems, technology and digital processes.
- The ability to work independently and drive projects forward with minimal supervision.
- Experience within Public Sector or Not For Profit environments would be advantageous.
Job Offer
- Salary up to 55,000 (some flexibility available for the right candidate)
- Fixed-term contract until March 2027
- Hybrid working with 2-3 days on site in Birmingham
- 35.5-hour working week
