Job Description

Papiertechnologe | Wörth am Rhein, Germany | Hybrid

We're hiring for a leading company in the European paper industry, renowned for its commitment to recycling and sustainable practices. This established firm operates across multiple business sectors, emphasizing a strong foundation built on 100% recycled raw materials and a forward-thinking approach to packaging and graphic papers.

The Role

Operate and monitor production machinery, both on-site and from the control room.
Manage startup and shutdown sequences of the paper machine, and handle paper web breaks.
Perform roll changes and guide auxiliary personnel.
Conduct cleaning of machinery components and execute scraper replacements.
Adjust and verify paper web tensions.
Monitor quality parameters using control system data, quality control systems, and lab results.

What You'll Need

Completed vocational training as a Paper Technologist or equivalent qualification.
Prior experience as a Paper Technologist is advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and handle pressure.
Flexibility and resilience in a dynamic work environment.
