Job Description

Papiertechnologe | Wörth am Rhein, Germany | Hybrid

We're hiring for a leading company in the European paper industry, renowned for its commitment to recycling and sustainable practices. This established firm operates across multiple business sectors, emphasizing a strong foundation built on 100% recycled raw materials and a forward-thinking approach to packaging and graphic papers.

The Role

  • Operate and monitor production machinery, both on-site and from the control room.
  • Manage startup and shutdown sequences of the paper machine, and handle paper web breaks.
  • Perform roll changes and guide auxiliary personnel.
  • Conduct cleaning of machinery components and execute scraper replacements.
  • Adjust and verify paper web tensions.
  • Monitor quality parameters using control system data, quality control systems, and lab results.

What You'll Need

  • Completed vocational training as a Paper Technologist or equivalent qualification.
  • Prior experience as a Paper Technologist is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and handle pressure.
  • Flexibility and resilience in a dynamic work environment.
