The Role • Operate and monitor production machinery, both on-site and from the control room. • Manage startup and shutdown sequences of the paper machine, and handle paper web breaks. • Perform roll changes and guide auxiliary personnel. • Conduct cleaning of machinery components and execute scraper replacements. • Adjust and verify paper web tensions. • Monitor quality parameters using control system data, quality control systems, and lab results. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training as a Paper Technologist or equivalent qualification. • Prior experience as a Paper Technologist is advantageous. • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and handle pressure. • Flexibility and resilience in a dynamic work environment.
