Manufacturing Applications Engineer

Dynomax Inc., a precision manufacturer serving aerospace, defense, and industrial markets, is seeking an Applications Engineer to develop, implement, and support manufacturing and automation solutions. In this role, you'll translate customer and internal requirements into robust processes, CNC programs, and tooling strategies, integrating CAD/CAM, PLCs, and data systems to improve quality, throughput, and reliability. You'll collaborate closely with engineering, production, and quality teams, troubleshoot complex issues on the shop floor, document best practices, and drive continuous improvement in a modern, high-tech manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer and internal requirements into manufacturing and automation solutions.
• Develop and optimize CNC programs, tooling, and workholding for precision components.
• Integrate and support PLCs, HMIs, and data acquisition systems on the production floor.
• Collaborate with design, production, and quality to launch new products and processes.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement robust corrective actions.
• Document processes, work instructions, and best practices for repeatability and training.
• Analyze production data to drive continuous improvement in quality and throughput.
• Support equipment commissioning, validation, and process capability studies.
