About the Role

Sydney Local Health District is one of the fastest growing Local Health Districts in New South Wales. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.

Reliable and effective operation of Sydney Local Health District's complex information and communication technology environment is critical to the delivery of safe patient care and efficient business operations. This environment supports clinical and business information systems, voice and paging services, duress platforms, communication technologies, medical device connectivity and enabling digital platforms that underpin the delivery of critical services across the District.

In this role, you will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for the governance, management and continuous improvement of digital communication platforms, critical communication services and associated service management functions. You will provide leadership across voice and paging services, duress platforms, case management, service monitoring, service performance management, SLA monitoring and reporting, platform administration, service automation, Service Desk integration, service transition, vendor coordination and continuous service improvement.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent experience, in information technology, telecommunications, digital communications or a related discipline, with extensive experience in voice, paging and critical communication technologies.
  • Experience managing complex enterprise telecommunications and digital communication environments, including voice, paging, duress and related communication platforms.
  • Experience in case management, platform administration, operational governance, service monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement within a large and complex ICT environment.
  • Leadership capability, including experience leading multidisciplinary teams, managing performance, building capability and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Experience managing stakeholder and vendor relationships, with the ability to influence outcomes and coordinate activities across technical, clinical and business environments.
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
