SAP PS (Project Systems) Finance Lead

Job Location:Remote

Duration: 12+ Months Contract with Possible extension

Visa: USC

Client & Project Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced SAP PS Finance Lead to join our Finance transformation team supporting Flex Ltd., a global leader in supply chain solutions and advanced manufacturing services across multiple industries.

Role Summary:

As the Project Systems Finance (PS) Lead, you will play a key role in designing and delivering scalable SAP solutions that align with business objectives. You will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into effective SAP PS solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP Project Systems (PS), Engineer-to-Order (ETO), Make-to-Order (MTO), and Project Costing (PS-PC). Strong hands-on experience with SAP ECC is required, while exposure to SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, validation, and deployment of SAP PS solutions aligned with business needs and transformation goals.
  • Facilitate workshops and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and drive solution decisions. 
  • Configure and support SAP Project Systems (PS) for Engineer-to-Order (ETO) processes, including:

· Project planning and costing

· Budgeting and cost control

· Work in Process (WIP)

· Settlement processes

· Revenue recognition methods (using Result Analysis Key)

· RAR (Optional)

· Controlling knowledge (Optional)

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Extensive hands-on experience in SAP Project Systems (PS).
  • Proven expertise in Engineer-to-Order (ETO) business processes.
  • Strong experience with Project Costing (CO-PC) and Revenue Recognition using Result Analysis.
  • Experience working in complex global manufacturing environments is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Ability to lead teams, influence decision-making, and collaborate effectively across business and IT organizations.
  • Provide functional leadership, ensure solution governance and quality standards, and support successful project delivery throughout the implementation lifecycle.
