Sr Information Systems Security Engineer [$214k/yr+] TS/SCI-FSP with Security Clearance

Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.

Summary: • Perform Information System Security Engineering (ISSE) responsibilities across large-scale distributed architectures. • Validate and verify security requirements, establish system security designs, and apply the Risk Management Framework. • Conduct vulnerability and penetration testing using tools such as Wireshark and Nessus while ensuring security compliance across systems.

Qualifications && Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 14+ years • Total Compensation: $214k+ yearly (tentative) Job Description: • Validate and verify system security requirements and establish security designs for large-scale distributed network environments. • Identify, recommend, and implement information security architectures, technical solutions, and standards. • Assess and mitigate system security threats and risks throughout the program life cycle. • Lead security planning, risk analysis, risk management, certification, and continuous monitoring activities. • Formulate, propose, coordinate, and enforce information systems security policies and standards. • Perform vulnerability and penetration testing using tools including Nessus, NMAP, and Wireshark. • Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Test Engineering, and Agile development teams to ensure software and hardware architectures meet security requirements. • Audit and assess system security configuration settings across desktop and server operating systems. • Support PKI, cryptography, web services, and type 1 device security verification testing.
