Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Database Administrator with strong expertise in AWS Aurora, Amazon RDS, PostgreSQL, and cloud database administration. The role will be responsible for managing, optimizing, securing, and supporting enterprise database environments across AWS, on-premises, and hybrid cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

  • Administer and support AWS Aurora, Amazon RDS, PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis/MemoryDB, and Snowflake environments.
  • Perform database provisioning, configuration, monitoring, backup/recovery, high availability, performance tuning, and security management.
  • Support database migrations between on-premises and AWS environments, including homogeneous and heterogeneous migrations.
  • Develop and maintain automation using SQL, PowerShell, Unix/Linux shell scripting, with Python/JSON as a plus.
  • Troubleshoot database performance, connectivity, availability, and production issues.
  • Implement cloud-native database solutions focused on reliability, scalability, security, and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams to support critical enterprise workloads.
  • Participate in on-site work and provide production support as required.
