What We’re Looking for

As Digital Marketing Executive, you will drive the planning, delivery and optimisation of Pineapple’s digital marketing activity, helping build brand awareness, engage our audiences and generate enquiries.

Working closely with the Marketing Project Manager and wider marketing team, you will deliver campaigns across social media, email and the website. You will combine practical content creation skills with an analytical approach, using performance insights to improve results.

Creating marketing assets is an integral part of this role. Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign is essential, enabling you to produce and update professional, on-brand materials for digital and print use.

What You'll Be Doing

Social Media and Content Creation

  • Create, schedule and publish engaging content for LinkedIn and Instagram, including copy, branded graphics, carousels and short-form videos, with an interest in developing video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro or similar software. Previous video editing experience is advantageous but not essential, as training can be provided.
  • Adapt product information, case studies, podcasts and other existing content into assets suited to different audiences and channels.
  • Monitor engagement and relevant conversations, responding or directing enquiries to colleagues as appropriate.

Digital Campaigns and Email Marketing

  • Set up, manage and optimise LinkedIn advertising campaigns within agreed objectives and budgets.
  • Build and deliver email campaigns, newsletters and mailshots using HubSpot, including audience segmentation, content formatting, testing and scheduling.
  • Coordinate campaign content, assets and deadlines with colleagues and external suppliers.
  • Test different messages, visuals and calls to action to improve campaign performance.
  • Update website content using WordPress, ensuring information is accurate, current and adhering to SEO principles including page titles, headings, metadata, internal links and image descriptions.

Reporting and Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor and report on social media, paid advertising, email and website performance using platform analytics, HubSpot and Google Analytics.
  • Identify practical improvements to content, targeting and campaign delivery.
  • Maintain accurate campaign records and contribute to marketing planning.
  • Undertake other reasonable duties consistent with the role.

What success looks like

Success looks like delivering engaging, on-brand digital campaigns that grow brand awareness, increase audience engagement and generate measurable results.

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in graphic design or a related field.
  • Practical experience delivering digital marketing activity across social media, email and websites.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite - especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Expert proficiency in social media channels.
  • Expert proficiency in email platforms, including building, testing and sending campaigns.
  • Proficiency in WordPress.
  • An understanding of paid social advertising, basic SEO and digital performance measurement.
  • Strong copywriting and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences.
