Job Title: Solution Architect / Enterprise Architect – MuleSoft & Salesforce Integration

Location: St. Louis, MO
Work Arrangement: Onsite four days per week

Experience Level: 10+ years

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect to design and guide enterprise integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with MuleSoft, including on-premises environments, or substantial experience designing Salesforce integrations with enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable enterprise integration solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Define solution architecture, integration patterns, APIs, data flows, and security standards.
• Lead MuleSoft architecture, deployment, configuration, and integration activities in on-premises or hybrid environments.
• Design integrations between Salesforce, enterprise applications, databases, and third-party platforms.
• Assess existing systems and recommend modernization and integration strategies.
• Create architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation roadmaps.
• Provide technical guidance to development, infrastructure, security, and business teams.
• Review proposed solutions for scalability, security, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, troubleshooting, and implementation governance.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise application development, systems integration, or solution architecture.
• Experience as a Solution Architect, Integration Architect, Enterprise Architect, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of MuleSoft, including on-premises deployment, configuration, or administration.
• Alternatively, extensive experience designing Salesforce integrations involving APIs, middleware, and enterprise systems.
• Strong understanding of REST and SOAP APIs, microservices, messaging, data integration, and security principles.
• Experience creating enterprise architecture documentation and presenting solutions to technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to work onsite in St. Louis, Missouri, four days per week.
• Ability to work as a contract professional under the terms of the engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

• MuleSoft or Salesforce certifications.
• Experience with Anypoint Platform, API Manager, CloudHub, or hybrid integration environments.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or related Salesforce platforms.
• Experience with cloud platforms and enterprise modernization initiatives.
• Experience establishing integration standards, governance processes, and reusable API strategies.
