The Role

• Take responsibility for safeguarding within the school, acting as a primary point of contact.
• Liaise daily with statutory and non-statutory agencies, parents/carers, and staff on wellbeing, child protection, and safeguarding matters.
• Provide expert advice, support, and guidance to the team.
• Collaborate with colleagues across different locations to share best practices and enhance skills.
• Play a crucial role within the leadership team, reporting directly to the Head Teacher.

What You'll Need

• At least 3 years of experience in a Designated Safeguarding Lead role.
• A comprehensive portfolio of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) related to Safeguarding and Child Protection.
• Outstanding interpersonal and problem-resolution skills.
• A genuinely empathetic and compassionate approach.
• Full UK driving licence.
