Veterinary Surgeon Opportunities Across North East England

Thinking about your next step — or just curious about what could be out there?
This isn’t a live job advert. It’s simply an opportunity to start a conversation about current and future Veterinary Surgeon roles across IVC Evidensia practices in the North East.
Whether you’re actively looking, planning a move later this year, or just exploring your options, we’d love to hear from you.

Why the North East?

With its stunning coastline, beautiful countryside, and vibrant cities like Newcastle and Durham, the North East offers an incredible quality of life. From coastal walks in Northumberland to city living and a strong sense of community, it’s a region that truly has something for everyone — often with a lower cost of living compared to other parts of the UK.

Our aim is to connect you with a role that suits your clinical interests, preferred way of working, and long-term ambitions — not just what’s available right now.

What you can expect

*Flexible working options openly discussed from the outset
(part-time, school hours, condensed weeks, set days)
*Supportive, welcoming teams with mentoring at every stage
*Clear career progression with funded CPD
*Roles shaped around your strengths: consult-only, surgery-focused, or mixed
*Visa sponsorship for eligible candidates
*Relocation support for overseas and UK residents

Proud to be apart of inspiring vet care

Through investment in learning, innovation, and wellbeing, we create environments where our teams can grow in confidence, capability, and fulfilment—at every stage of their career.

Who should register?

*Veterinary Surgeons with 1+ years’ experience
*UK-based or overseas vets considering the UK
