At Hydro International, we're looking for a motivated and driven individual to join our team as a Proposal Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career professional who enjoys problem-solving, working with customers and developing technical expertise, whilst building a rewarding career in technical sales and commercial business.
You don't need previous experience in the water industry. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, a desire to learn and the motivation to succeed.

The Role
As a Proposal Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting our sales activities by producing technical quotations and proposals for customers across the UK and Europe. Working closely with Regional Sales Managers and other internal teams, you'll learn how our products work, develop commercial awareness and gain valuable experience in a customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities include:

• Producing quotations and technical proposals for customer projects.
• Supporting customers with enquiries and product selection.
• Developing an understanding of engineering calculations and product design principles.
• Working closely with Sales Managers to support business growth.
• Managing multiple enquiries and meeting customer deadlines.
• Building positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Maintaining accurate records using company systems and CRM platforms.

About You
This role would suit a recent graduate or someone at the early stages of their career who is looking for a long-term opportunity with clear progression.

A degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Mathematics, Geography, Business or a similar discipline would be advantageous, but we welcome applications from candidates with transferable skills and a genuine desire to develop.
