Role Overview
This role is responsible for assisting in the safe and reliable operation, dispatching, and restoration of facilities for the distribution system. The position involves working under pressure during critical system conditions and making decisions that affect service reliability, personnel safety, and public welfare. This role requires rotating shift work and high availability for call-out responses.
Key Responsibilities
Education: An Associate degree in electrical or electronic technology, a Bachelor of Science in any field, or equivalent education and/or experience is required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Word is required.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Promote and enforce company safety and health programs.
- Adhere to written company and department policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate high standards of ethical behavior and support corporate compliance policies.
- Effectively operate company communication equipment.
- Track crew locations and ongoing work on the distribution system.
- Dispatch service personnel to respond to outage and emergency situations.
- Authorize the energizing and restoration of distribution facilities.
- Maintain accurate records of outages, abnormal equipment, and defective equipment for distribution facilities.
Education: An Associate degree in electrical or electronic technology, a Bachelor of Science in any field, or equivalent education and/or experience is required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Word is required.
Work Environment
- This is an onsite position.
- Rotating shift work is required. The schedule is based on a 14-week rotation including 12-hour day and night shifts, 8-hour evening shifts, and 10-hour day shifts.
- Must maintain high availability for call-out response.
- Applicants must live within or be willing to relocate to within 30 minutes of the reporting location.
- Physical demand level is sedentary.
