# of Openings: 1 Clearance: Requires a security clearance. The Prospective Group (TPG) is seeking a Cloud Business Management Consultant to support the Department of State’s Diplomatic Technology (DT) Infrastructure Management (IM) Division. This position requires 50–80% onsite work in Washington, DC.

Position Responsibilities

• Providing advisory services to government customers regarding cloud acquisition, funding, and payment processes.
• Performing cloud financial management activities, including cost tracking, utilization monitoring, budget forecasting, and expenditure analysis.
• Supporting customer accounts to ensure adequate funding levels and prevent interruptions to cloud services.
• Developing and documenting operational procedures, process improvements, and governance controls for cloud service delivery.
• Applying industry best practices and federal IT governance principles to support effective cloud financial oversight and management.

Position Requirements: Key Skill

• Financial Management Position Qualifications:
• 8-10+ years of experience
• Experience with financial management and budget execution
• Experience with cloud financial management and FinOps preferred
• Possess strong commitment to team environment dynamic with the ability to collaborate and contribute expertise
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing to formally present information and recommendations to management/office leadership
• Microsoft Excel experience required
• IBM Apptio Cloudability experience preferred
• Experience with federal financial management systems (AMS Momentum, DOS GFMS, Ariba ILMS) preferred
• Certified Government Financial Management (CGFM) certification preferred but not required We’re looking for someone who has fantastic core consulting skills in addition to:
• Can produce client-ready content with minimal guidance/access to templates
• Has exceptional time management/self-starter
• Is comfortable collaborating with Sr. leaders
