The Role

• Provide in-person, remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan lessons, report on progress, and provide regular feedback to students and stakeholders.
• Work with schools and local authorities to raise the standard of education for vulnerable learners.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate a range of learning difficulties including MLD, SLD, and PMLD.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, with a preference for experience in SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity with teaching core subjects: Maths, English, and/or Science.
• Knowledge of safeguarding principles and creating a safe learning environment.
• An enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and professional references.
• The right to work in the United Kingdom.
