RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Phoenix, AZ that is seeking a Payment Integrations Analyst/SME for a hybrid role. This individual will partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, and third-party payment vendors to support current payment operations while helping define and implement a future-state payments strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Payment Operations & Vendor Management:
* Serve as the internal subject matter expert for payment processing technologies and payment integrations
* Partner with payment vendors, processors, gateways, and acquiring partners to investigate and resolve payment-related issues
* Analyze authorization rates, decline trends, transaction failures, and payment performance metrics
* Validate vendor recommendations and provide expert guidance to internal stakeholders
* Support root cause analysis efforts for payment processing challenges
Payment Integration Analysis:
* Assess existing payment integrations across multiple products, channels, and platforms
* Identify opportunities for standardization, optimization, and consolidation of payment services
* Collaborate with technical teams to support implementation and enhancement of payment-related solutions
Strategic Initiatives:
* Assist with payment integration planning for CRM and platform transformation projects, including Salesforce
* Evaluate payment technology vendors, processors, gateways, and emerging payment solutions
* Translate complex payment concepts into business-friendly recommendations
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience in payment processing, payment integrations, payment operations, or related payment technology environments
* Experience working directly with payment vendors and third-party service providers
* Ability to analyze transaction data, identify trends, and recommend solutions
* Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Strong understanding of:
* Payment gateways
* Payment processors
* Acquiring banks/acquirers
* Merchant IDs (MIDs)
* Authorization and settlement processes
* Credit card and card-not-present transactions
* Point-of-sale payment systems
* Tokenization and payment security concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with enterprise CRM platforms such as Salesforce
* Experience supporting large-scale payment transformation initiatives
* Knowledge of omnichannel payment environments
* Familiarity with payment compliance and security standards
Background working for:
* Payment processors
* Acquiring institutions
* Payment technology providers
* Point-of-sale solution vendors
* FinTech organizations
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
