ServiceNow Senior System Administrator

Overview of our role

Own the health, governance and continuous improvement of a critical enterprise ServiceNow platform. As the ServiceNow Platform Lead, you'll provide technical leadership across platform operations, upgrades, integrations, CMDB governance and lifecycle management, ensuring the platform remains secure, scalable and aligned to business needs. Working closely with stakeholders, architects, developers and vendors, you'll drive platform strategy, manage technical risk and help deliver reliable, high-quality Enterprise Services across the organisation.

What You'll Bring

• Extensive experience managing and supporting the ServiceNow platform in complex enterprise environments.
• Proven expertise in platform health, upgrades, releases, lifecycle management, security and operational excellence.
• Strong experience leading incident resolution, root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated capability in governing integrations, managing technical risk and maintaining platform stability.
• Experience implementing and maintaining CMDB and CSDM practices to improve data quality and service visibility.
• Proven technical leadership, including mentoring teams, establishing governance standards and acting as a senior escalation point.

Qualifications / Certifications & Experience

• Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow platform administration, architecture, security, governance and lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of ITIL and Service Management practices, including Incident, Request, Change, Problem, Knowledge and Configuration Management.
• Expertise in platform health, performance monitoring, upgrades, releases and operational support.
• Strong knowledge of CMDB and CSDM, including service modelling, configuration management and data quality practices.
• Experience with ServiceNow development, automation, integrations and enterprise governance within complex environments.
• ServiceNow CSA certified, with ITIL Foundation and relevant ServiceNow certifications, supported by tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
