Senior PeopleSoft HCM Technical Program Manager – Open Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior PeopleSoft HCM Technical Program Manager to lead and manage a team of PeopleSoft HCM professionals.

Worksite Arrangement: Hybrid – 4 days onsite and 1 day remote
Contract Length: 24+ months

Position Description

We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead and manage a PeopleSoft HCM resource team, including UX/UI, Payroll Functional, and Time & Labor Functional specialists, while overseeing delivery, staff performance, and stakeholder coordination.

The role involves managing a multidisciplinary team supporting Core HR, Payroll, Time & Labor systems, and related digital modernization initiatives. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining consistent delivery standards, managing priorities, and coordinating across business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day management, mentorship, and performance oversight for the PeopleSoft resource team.

• Serve as the primary escalation point for scope, priority, and delivery-related issues.

• Coordinate cross-functional work across PeopleSoft HCM modules, including Core HR, Payroll for North America, Time & Labor, and Benefits Administration.

• Oversee planning, scheduling, and resource allocation across concurrent PeopleSoft initiatives, including digital hiring UX/UI modernization.

• Track team performance against SLAs/KPIs and drive continuous improvement of support and delivery processes.

• Provide regular status reports on program health, risks, and milestones.

• Support requirements gathering, functional design reviews, and change management across PeopleSoft HCM projects.

• Manage staffing requirements, onboarding, and succession planning for the PeopleSoft team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 16+ years of IT program/project management experience, including managing multi-person technical teams.

• 16+ years of technical experience with PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) deployments.

• 16+ years of technical experience deploying user interface modernization solutions.

• 16+ years of technical experience implementing third-party identity provider solutions.

• 16+ years of technical experience integrating data visualization systems.

• 16+ years of experience managing and optimizing Oracle databases.

• 16+ years of technical experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

• Demonstrated experience managing PeopleSoft HCM engagements or teams across Core HR, Payroll, and Time & Labor.

• Strong track record leading projects in compliance with established standards and procedures.

• Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders, including business leadership, technical teams, and vendor resources.

• PMP certification preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level status reporting.
