RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in Juno Beach, FL that is seeking an AI Developer.

Summary

We are seeking a motivated and innovative AI Developer. Contractor to support the design, development, testing, and deployment of AI-powered solutions. The contractor will work alongside internal AI engineers, software developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver intelligent applications, automation capabilities, and AI-driven business solutions that support strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and deployment of solutions using AI
• Support data preparation, cleansing, transformation, and feature engineering activities
• Develop, test, and maintain AI-driven application features and machine learning models
• Build proof-of-concepts and production-ready solutions utilizing
• Implement algorithms using industry-standard AI and machine learning frameworks
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues within AI solutions and supporting data pipelines
• Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards and best practices
• Write clean, maintainable, secure, and well-documented code
• Support AI model deployment, monitoring, tuning, and lifecycle management
• Assist in the integration of AI capabilities with enterprise applications and cloud platforms
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies and recommend improvements where appropriate
• Design, develop, and support AI-enabled application features
• Assist with implementation of Generative AI and Agentic AI use cases
• Produce maintainable, documented, production-ready code
• Participate in technical design and solution architecture discussions
• Support testing, validation, deployment, and operational readiness

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline
• 0 to 5 years of experience in software development, AI, machine learning, data science, or related technical roles
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience working with modern AI technologies
• Ability to quickly learn business processes while contributing to enterprise AI projects
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts, model development, and model evaluation techniques
• Exposure to Generative AI, Agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), or AI orchestration frameworks
• Experience using source control systems such as Git
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Understanding of:

• Data structures and algorithms
• Object-oriented programming
• REST APIs
• Software development lifecycle methodologies

Preferred:

• Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, RAG architectures, and AI agents
• Experience working in AWS or Azure cloud environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications and business workflows
• Understanding of responsible AI, model governance, and AI security principles

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
