Job Description

Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and technically skilled Network Hardware Technician to join
our team full-time. This position will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining,
troubleshooting, and supporting network infrastructure, computer hardware, and related
technology systems.
The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability
to work independently while providing professional technical support to employees and
customers.
Key Responsibilities
 Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network equipment, including routers,
switches, access points, and firewalls.
 Set up, repair, upgrade, and maintain desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and other
hardware.
 Diagnose and resolve network connectivity, hardware, and performance issues.
 Monitor network systems and assist with maintaining network security and reliability.
 Install and configure operating systems, software, drivers, and hardware components.
 Perform hardware replacements, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
 Troubleshoot wired and wireless network connections.
 Maintain accurate documentation of hardware, network equipment, configurations, and
repairs.
 Assist with user accounts, permissions, and basic IT support when needed.
 Respond to technical support requests in a timely and professional manner.
 Work with vendors and service providers when hardware or network issues require
additional support.
 Follow company security, data protection, and IT procedures.
 Stay current with networking technologies, hardware, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
 High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in IT, networking, or
a related field is a plus.
 Previous experience with computer hardware, networking, or IT support preferred.
 Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN, and basic network
troubleshooting.
 Experience working with Windows computers and common business software.
 Ability to diagnose hardware and connectivity problems effectively.

 Strong communication and customer-service skills.
 Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
 Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed.
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
 CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications.
 Experience with Dell, Ubiquiti, Aruba, Sonicwall or other networking equipment.
 Experience with network cabling and hardware installation.
 Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, or cloud-based systems.
 Basic understanding of cybersecurity and network security practices.
